The STAY Mentoring Service provides 1-2-1 mentoring support and guidance to college students across Glasgow and Edinburgh. STAY Mentoring seeks to help students to navigate and overcome barriers that may be making it difficult to sustain college and follow through on their ambitions. They currently work within City of Glasgow College, Glasgow Kelvin College, Glasgow Clyde College and Edinburgh College, mentoring students up to the age of twenty six, and twenty nine if the student is Care-Experienced.

STAY Mentors provide support in many areas. Some areas in which STAY can support you is through advocacy with internal and external teams, mental health and emotional wellbeing advice, housing and homelessness support, budgeting advice, employability guidance, referrals to relevant external and internal agencies, and support to access resources within your community and college.

If you believe this service would be of benefit to you please reach out to them on: STAYmentoring@actionforchildren.org.uk, and tell them which college you are at, or due to attend, and the STAY Mentor within your specific college will reach out.”
