Facing setbacks is a part of life, and no one likes rejection. If something doesn’t go to plan, rather than look at what we could have done to prevent it and what we can do to remedy it, we fall into the habit of blaming it on ourselves or our circumstances. But it is important to understand that you only have so much control over certain things, like employment.
