UCAS

UCAS provides information on financial support you may be entitled to if continuing in education.

Financial Support

The UK Government website has financial support for young people aged 16-19 who are studying at a publicly funded school or college in England – not a university, on a training course, including unpaid work experience. A publicly funded school is one that does not charge you for attending it.

Citizens Advice

Citizens Advice provides support for those struggling with the cost of living, offering guidance on benefit entitlements, debt management, council assistance, and help with essential costs like rent, bills, and food. They recommend checking what support you qualify for and reaching out to creditors or local councils if needed.

Money Helper

MoneyHelper is a UK government-backed service providing free, impartial advice on money, pensions, and debt. It offers guidance on budgeting, savings, retirement planning, and access to trusted support services, plus useful tools and calculators.

The King’s Trust

At The King’s Trust, we empower disadvantaged youth to overcome challenges, build skills for success, and thrive despite their backgrounds.
